Bankruptcy Help for Allegan & Kalamazoo

allegan and kalamazoo bankruptcyWritten by John Van Elk, Allegan Bankruptcy Lawyer

Welcome to our bankruptcy blog.  This is our first post, and we’re excited.  We’ve represented bankruptcy clients in Allegan, Kalamazoo, and all over West Michigan for over fifteen years.

This blog is a new tool to help our clients, and even those who aren’t our clients.  It’s about information in your hands.  And with bankruptcy, as with so much else, knowledge is power.

Whether you live in Allegan, or anywhere else in West Michigan, you known that corporate America has gotten its way in Washington.  And big business has put us in the mess we’re in.  It’s high time we kicked the money changers out of the temple.  But it might never happen–probably won’t, in fact. Jobs have been shipped oversees by both political parties, and the needs of working families have been ignored.  The little guy (or gal) just doesn’t have the money to buy votes–and it shows.  Michigan has taken it on the chin.

So you need to know your rights.  You need to know how to protect your family in these difficult times.  And that’s what this bankruptcy blog is all about.  We want to help the voters, not the vote buyers.

We’ll do bankruptcy posts every week or two, and we hope you find them useful.  We’ll explore any relevant bankruptcy issues we can think of, especially new developments in the law.  If you have questions, or would like us to write about a topic you’re interested in, please let us know.

The people of West Michigan deserve our best, and that’s always how we’ve approached our client’s needs.  We want to do what’s best for our clients.  If you need help with your financial situation, we’re only a phone call away.  We have an office in Allegan and in Kalamazoo right across from the Bankruptcy Court.  We look forward to helping you.
